Syncing the Cottonwood Coming Home Days calendar to an Android phone

1. Open the Google Calendar app
2. Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner
3. Scroll down and tap on Settings
4. Tap on Add account
5. Select Other
6. Paste the following iCal URL into the "URL" field
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/cottonwoodcominghomedays%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
7. Tap Add
8. The public calendar will now appear in your list of calendars. You might need to refresh the app for it to show up immediately.

If these steps don't work, you can also try the following steps:
1. Open Chrome on your computer and go to calendar.google.com
2. On the left sidebar, find Other calendars and tap the + icon and then tap From URL
3. Paste the iCal link in the URL of calendar field:

4. Click the Add Calendar button.
5. The public calendar will now appear in your list of calendars on your phone. You might need to refresh the app for it to show up immediately.

Adding the Cottonwood Coming Home Days calendar to an iPhone

1. Highlight the following iCal URL and then tap Open Link
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/cottonwoodcominghomedays%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
2. Tap Subscribe
3. Change the color and notifications field if desired and then tap Add
4. The calendar will appear in the Calendar app under Subscribed Calendars. You might need to refresh the app for it to show up immediately.

If these steps don't work, you can also try the following steps:
1. Open Safari and the paste the following iCal URL into the address bar
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/cottonwoodcominghomedays%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
2. When prompted, tap Subscribe to add the calendar to the Apple Calendar app
3. The calendar will appear in the Calendar app under Subscribed Calendars. You might need to refresh the app for it to show up immediately.
